Affiliate Marketing Part 2 - Who Are the Buyers?

Before you start to look for buyers, you have to understand who the the Transformers are. You must know what they like, when they like to buy and what attracts them on Zorro playset regular basis. You have to delve into their world and know if they are buying for their hobby or if they have a problem they are trying to fix. You need to know your (customer) buyer.

I'll introduce two very different kinds of buyers in this article.

Desperate Buyers:

Desperate buyers are a group of individuals who usually have a burning problem that they need to fix immediately. They want it now, not tomorrow or next week. They are looking for a solution to their crisis.

You can usually find desperate buyers that are looking for some kind of pain remedy, financial help or a solution to an embarrassing personal problem. The idea is to help them find an answer, a cure or some sort of therapeutic help. The goal is to provide them with useful information and products, not with useless garbage.

Passionate Buyers:

Passionate buyers are the type of people who usually have hobbies and are looking to buy anything related to their hobby. We call it a niche. Things like this can 1959 Topps baseball cards from the usual like golf, cars, baseball, toy guns cooking, etc. We can also find unusual hobbies or niches such as demon spells, macaroni and cheese box collections, hypnosis, witchcraft, E.S.P. and the sort.

Pay attention:

Not all niches are buyers' niches. As I mentioned earlier, you have to know your buyer. You will find a huge following for some hobbies but soon find out they are not a huge purchasing crowd. There can be several reasons for this.

They may be too young to have a credit card. They might be involved in a hobby that is followed mostly by low-income groups. They might have too many opportunities to buy their item at a local store at a competitive price.

There can be so many reasons so that's why it's important to know your buyer (market). Once you figure that out, you'll be on your way to the next step.
